VW T4 transporter Camper / Day / Surf Van 2.4D in Cardiff, Cardiff for sale

For Sale Volkswagen Transporter Camper Van. It runs well, has a long MOT left, and we use it regularly. Tax is until end Jan 13. It is pretty economical for a van on a run. We have taken it to Scotland and the Lakedistrict in the last year, as well as using it for local surfing, mountain biking and camping trips, the last of which was last weekend. It has a towbar with electrics, and a VW bonnet bra. Since we have had the van it has had; Cambelt and Water pump change. New starter motor . New track rod ends. New glow plugs. New windscreen. Regular servicing. Receipts are available for all the above. The van has a towbar, and the bodywork is pretty good for an 18yr old van. The inside has been insulated, ply lined, and then carpeted on the inside. This was done by a carpet fitter so is a pretty neat job! A full length, 4ft wide double bed ( folds out from settee ). High quality upholstery foam was used for the cushions so it is very warm / comfortable. 2 Burner Camping Gas stove with Grill. 12v Leisure battery, and internal 12v lights and cigarette lighter socket, charged via a split charge relay ( means whilst camping you don’t run your engine battery out, whilst charging phones or having the lights on!) Sony CD/radio Cupboards for food, clothes etc Sink in worktop (doesn’t drain to anywhere, we just use it for washing up, and by having a sink it gets you across the Severn Bridge as a car, so much cheaper) Freestanding table, which also forms the last section of the bed. This layout means that there is plenty of room inside for carrying surfboards, or mountain bikes, both of which we do regularly! We have enjoyed our time with the van, and hope someone can continue to enjoy it. Obviously it is sold as seen, however I am happy to take people for a test drive and viewings are welcome / recommended. I want to sell the van in person please, not remotely, and it needs to be paid for in full before you take it away. I will not send money abroad etc etc etc. I am more than happy to answer legitimate questions by email or phone, and we have the owners manual, 2 sets of keys, and the V5 and MOT. Thanks Toby
