Using reclaimed timber, the redwood is very nicely worn-in and aged, and will only improve as it continues to age! Being previously worked pieces of timber, the table has character-adding imperfections, dents and cracks - while remaining a very solid piece. The redwood top is unusually chunky at two inches thick. Redwood is a firmer wood than standard pine, so if you're looking for a slightly hardier table than pine, then this this it. Our tables are expertly created using only the best techniques and materials, including several coats (always at least three!) of Farrow & Ball Eggshell paint and three layers of clear matt varnish for protection and sheen, meaning that it both gives a nicely aged appearance today and will also continue to age beautifully.
