VINTAGE RETRO 1960/70s SET OF THREE MURANO STYLE MULTI-COLOURED ART GLASSWARE FISH Large 35cms Medium 29cms Small 23cms Rare to find the full set of 3 all in good condition. These retro glass fish are the epitome of kitsch! The fish are of blown glass with the predominant colours of white, blue, red and green over the entire body. There are areas of clear glass, allowing the whole piece to "light up" and shine in the sun. All the fish have clear glass fins and the tails are finished with crimped detail. These fish are in the traditional "torpedo" shape with open mouths. This type of glassware was typically produced in Murano Italy using the scraps of coloured glass left in the kilns after a days work. They look great under light or on a windowsill when they take on a wonderful luminescence. Can arrange postage & packing for £5 if required.
